New Aries Adapter Provides Pin-For-Pin Replacement For Obsolete Aromat Relay
Frenchtown, NJ, December 30, 2004 - Aries Electronics, an international manufacturer of standard, programmed and custom interconnection products, has introduced a new assembly which enables users of the popular but now obsolete Aromat HB2E relay to achieve a pin-for-pin replacement with no board design or rework. The new Aries Correct-A-Chip 08-305984-11 adapter features the old Aromat footprint on the bottom of the adapter and a new TX2SA-1V solid state relay on the top. The new relay has the same operating characteristics and specifications as the Aromat part.

The body of this new adapter is .062' thick, glass-filled FR-4 material with one ounce of copper traces. The body, which has a temperature rating of -40/130ºC, is UL 94V-0 rated. The unit's male pins are brass alloy 360 with 200 u" tin over 100 u" nickel per QQ-N-290.
In addition to these standard materials, the new relay adapter is offered in custom materials, platings, sizes and configurations to suit specific customer needs.
