Singlemode LC Products Achieve Telcordia Qualifications Using Standard Matched-Cladding Fiber

Singlemode LC Connectors and Jumpers from Tyco Electronics are qualified to Telcordia GR-326, Issue 3; Service Life-Part A, using standard match-cladding fiber. “A significant amount of engineering work went into designing each component to meet the specific requirements of Telcordia GR-326-CORE,” commented Paula Trindell, Product Manager, Tyco Electronics Fiber Optics Business Unit. “Our results reflect that attention to detail. Not only did attenuation average less than 0.07 dB at all four wavelengths, but transmission with applied load results never exceeded 0.2dB, bettering the objective of 0.3dB.”  More>>>
